In 1937 the Clyde Yacht Clubs' Conference (which became the CYCA in 1968) donated the perpetual International Gold Cup in perpetuation of the good feeling which existed at the first International Clyde Fortnight in 1936. The Dragon Gold Cup is contested annually - see the International Dragon Association website for details.
